Advantages: Size, durability and rucksack style straps Disadvantages: Comfort if carrying for extended periods of time (> 1hr)
...into the main flap on the top of the bag, zip closing but stuff falls out of this quite easily into the main comartment when the zip is open.
Because of the large d-shaped lid its relatively easy to access things inside the bag.
When not in use the bad compacts down well so it doesn't take up too much room.
What this bag isn't...
Its not a rucksack - yes it has rucksack style straps which do make it easier to carry but its certainly not a rucksack. It doesn't have the back support (or padding) or additional features such as a hip belt that most rucksacks have. You need to pack it carefully if using it with the rucksack style straps to ensure things aren't prodding you with every step.
Does this matter? well if you're only carrying this short distances or have little weight in it then probably not. If you wanted to use this as a main...

Advantages: Well built, Good load transfer, Non sweat back system Disadvantages: Heavy, looks slightly odd, Occipital cavity doesnt work, front pocket opening too small.
...The Cyclops III is the update to the legendary if not popular cyclops series of rucksacks. Whereas most manufacturers offer packs with an ajustable back system the Cyclops series take a differant approach. Instead of buying the pack and ajusting it you by it in back sizes - size 1 and 2 for the ladies and sizes 2, 3 and 4 for the lads.

Advantages: Easy to clean an maintain Disadvantages: Lacks extra storage
...I wanted to try Hydrapak so I gambled on the AS Trail. I am very glad that I did. The bladder doesn't have a screw-on lid like most other systems but rather a roll-top with velcro. I know that sounds bad and I was skeptical, but it really does hold water well. I filled it up and squeezed and couldn't get it to leak. Additionally, the bladder is easily pulled inside-out so that makes drying and cleaning a breeze. Oh yeah, the hose disconnects from the bladder so you can take the bladder out without snaking the hose through the system - the connection is also excellent, no leaks.
The construction of the pack is perfect. Nothing is coming apart, no loose threads. The straps stay tight. I did find that the chest strap (I didn't even try to use to waist strap) kept pulling my jersey up exposing my lower back to mud - a problem made worse...

My parents bought this camera about 2 weeks ago after seeing the ad on the tv. It cost about £125 from amazon, with free delivery, but I haven't really had a proper look around the market and you will probably be able to find it cheaper on ebay.

A flight from Gatwick - the only option for our recent holiday to Bermuda - meant we needed one night's accommodation near to the airport itself, to ensure we had no hold ups on the morning. As we would also need 12 nights parking I scoured the internet more
