Osprey Torque

Advantages: Good hook, Great back end, good length
Disadvantages: Not very forgiving

...I was never the best Ten Pin bowler at my local centre but managed to gaina respectable average with my older AMForce 4 ball. I have a medium to slow delivery and a fair amount of hook and rotation on the ball. When my AMForce finally bit the bullet It was time to find a new ball. Through no other reason than advertising in the Go TenPin magazine I choose the Nighthawk Torque. I have never looked back since buying this ball but it has changed my style alot. The first thing of note is that this ball does react well, in either polished or dull styles. Imediatley this cause me a few problems because of my delivery speed. I was pushing this ball wider and wider and it was still coming back into the pocket. Most of the time a bit too far. Advantages: Brilliant, technologically advanced golf club. Simply the best driver I have *EVER* used!
Disadvantages: Costs an arm and a leg

...(who legislate the rules of golf) introduced strident new specifications on January 1st, 2008 in regard to golf club manufacture, and many existing drivers (my own old driver included) were outlawed. These new rules concerned themselves mostly with what in golf circles is called the "COR" factor. This is golf speak for the way the club head compresses the golf ball, and the amount of bounce you get at the point of impact. The more "bounce" then the further the ball travels. Even more restrictions were placed on the amount of torque the club generated, or more precisely the less torque it managed to achieve. Less torque (twisting of the club head during the swing) means that you get the club head back to the ball squarer, which basically means that you hit fewer shots off target, even when your swing and impact on the ball is less than...
