Advantages: Durable. Spacious. Easy to erect. Bright & airy.
Disadvantages: None apart from being heavy (but it is a large tent!)

...campsites & very good facilities. Cons Expensive initial outlay. Not so great in bad weather. No good for winter holidays. LARGE car & roof box required! Poorly run campsites & bad facilities. Children wake up at dawn! The initial cost (which can be expensive) is far outweighed by the money you save on future holidays. Please bear in mind there are 6 of us and even holidays in the UK tend to cost us a lot due to the "2 adults & 2 children" syndrome. We spent approximately £600 getting kitted out and reckon that including last year, this year and next year's holidays, we will have got that money back in the savings we have made on "normal" holidays. Advantages: nice thick bed for camping, inexpensive

...We wandered thruogh miles upon miles of camping store looking for the perfect tent, the perfect mattress...for a reasonable price. As our search went on we grew weary- would we ever find what we were looking for? Discussions were had over the merits of this tent or that, but somehow we reached agreement. It soon became clear, however that, when it came to the issue of what to sleep on, we were on different wavelengths. "Look at this", I said, profferring yet another thin, self inflatable (some may say Thermarest), style camping bed, "we can get two of these, feel how light they are." In truth, I knew it was useless, my lover's eyes lit up as he surveyed the array of inflatable airbeds on offer, assessing which one would be the comfiest once inflated. Advantages: Spacious and strong Family sized Tent

...Outwell Nevada XL Tent. A new range for 2007 but we were very lucky to pick one up at knock down bargain price, Three times year our local camping stockists, put a show on, of there goods at our local Forest Park, and the tents that are on display, are available at the end, at a vastly reduced rate. And we picked it up for £147.00. Including a few extra's. It was nearing the end of the season for camping, as the weather was getting cooler etc, but see-in my brother and his family also purchased a bargain at the same time, we decided to shoot of the following weekend, for a week in Aberystwyth's Cerdigan Bay, or as we now fondly now it as Tornado Alley.
