The Outwell Camper Chair Deluxe Grey is a really nice chair to relax in, with a great handy side pocket so you can have your drink be side you. It opens and folds away in seconds and there is no assembly required. With it being lightweight, easy to carry and because it has a carrier bag for storage and portability you can take it anywhere with you. Ideal for camping, caravanning, travelling and for at home.
Advantages: Light, vibration mode, comfortable Disadvantages: Harness not very supportive
...I got the Chicco Deluxe Bouncing Chair before my baby was born and started using it almost immediately. She loves sitting in it and watching me, so if I have stuff to do I can keep her near me and get on with my work.
It is a good size with plenty of room to grow, light and therefore easy to move around the house, and has a vibration setting that babies find really relaxing. It also can be taken apart for travelling. It comes with toys and music to keep older babies entertained, and a harness for safety.
I did find that the harness could have been a bit more supportive; my baby tended to lean to one side when she was very young, and it would have been useful if it was able to recline a little, again for very young babies.
However I think this is a very good all rounder and would recommend it....

Advantages: nice thick bed for camping, inexpensive Disadvantages: heavy, needs reinflation
...grudgingly relented, "Well, you can carry it then."
What remained now was to find the best option (my main concern- weight. His- price). Various airbeds were assessed and discarded, until, I saw it, sitting nonchalantly on a shelf- the Outwell Classic Flock Double Airbed with buit in pump! I picked it up, it didn't feel any hevaier than some of the others we had looked at, and they had all required that we blow them up using only our lung capacity, or that we bring along a pump, which would take up valuable backpack space and add additional (albeit minimal) weight to our packs. I presented my offering to my companion, "and (at 20 pounds) it's cheaper than the others!" He surveyed the box, noting the dimensions (191 x 140 x 23). It would fit easily inside our tent, it was just about long enough to support my lover's height, and, while it was 10...

Advantages: safe place for baby, gentle bouncing motion, many positions Disadvantages: awkward to clean, not very light weight, hard to transport, no vibrations or toys!
...Much as I love carrying Leah about the house, there are times when your arms can't take the strain anymore, and a baby chair becomes your best friend! I have two baby chairs - the "bumbo" which is a funny thing that looks like a big potty and is made of a foam/rubber type stuff, and this Chicco chair.
The bumbo is the trendy one, and it's very useful in that it is lightweight so easy to transport around the house from room to room. But Leah doesn't like it as it holds her very upright, and she doesn't like to bend in the middle.
When Leah learnt to roll, it was no longer to safe to leave her lying on the floor while I went to a different room. The chair has been really useful especially since then!
The Chicco chair has lots of positions - there is a dial at each side so that you can lower or raise the back of the chair notch by...
