We have this over xylophone at the special needs school I work at.
It is a really good toy attractive to look at.
This xylophone is made of wood a preservative free rubber wood. It feels nice and soft smooth. It has only has 5 colourful keys red orange yellow blue and green it has a wooden beater to go with it. This beater is easy to hold by little hands.
This toy is suitable for 2 year olds. The tone is a gently plink plonk not harsh and tinny It is not really very musical difficult to play a real tune on.
A small child will just love to make the sounds.
This toy will help them with their fine and gross motor skills and will help them gain rhythm.
I would recommend this for a 2 to 4 year old.
This toy costs £10.70 from http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plan-Toys-0640502-Oval-Xylophone Have fun playing with your children?s toys ...
Advantages: customization is great Disadvantages: too short
i'm a big fan of the nfs series but i wasn't too impressed by carbon which could have been great. Ive given it a three star rating becuase a couple of reasons.
number one- it is too short- it doesn't compare to the other nfs game. i completed it in less than 2 weeks playing occasionally.
number 2- The graphics are quite good but don't look like they have changed from need for speed underground. The gameplay has improved and driving the cars is much more realistic with better handling. The highlight of the game is probably the awsome autoscuplt where you can modify you cars looks and performance. You can can change the size, shape and height of the extras before buying them.
If you're loking for a cheap decent driving game then this is perfect for you but nfs fans may be let down. ...
Advantages: Good storyline, believable characters, a message behind this. Disadvantages: Adults will see this as just another teen book. Can get depressing.
Written by Saci Lloyd.
379 page in paperback.
Can be bought new for £4.51 at amazon.co.uk or new and used for £3+ on ebay.co.uk.
This was something that a friend had recommended, it looked interesting, had a good blurb on the back that drew me in so I instantly began to read it. It took me two days to complete Carbon Diaries and it was certainly a thought provoking read even if I felt depressed at several chapters because of the angst.
The Carbon Diaries follows the life of Laura, a sixteen year old who must try to stay sane while she tries to keep the blocks on her carbon card from disappearing too quickly. 2015 is the start of something new for the United Kingdom, in a bid to cut down greenhouse gas emissions England is forced to ration carbon dioxide. Now everyone has a card which checks how much carbon people have used ...
