Oxygenated!

Advantages: Intense minty flavour, good value
Disadvantages: Could provide longer-lasting freshness

Colgate is undoubtedly one of the most established brands of toothpaste in the UK and indeed worldwide. But did you know the company is 200 years old? No neither did I - just take a look at their website if you don't believe me! When it comes to toothpaste, I am loyal to two main brands - Aquafresh and Colgate. I tend to buy several tubes of whichever one happens to be on offer when I go shopping. My latest purchase was two tubes of Colgate Oxygen for £3 from Tesco - a saving of 88p. I had not bought this particular variety before, but was intrigued to find out how well it fared compared to my usual Aquafresh toothpaste. JML Fresh Air Globe

Advantages: very good
Disadvantages: none

The idea is that by swirling water around (or something more scientific but swirling is what it looks like), particles will be filtered out of the air and deposited in the water bowl leaving you with cleaner, fresher air. There is a vent on the lid of the globe from which the air (and I assume the water particles) are emitted. Cost £40 plus £5 postage direct from JML, available in two colours Use It's very easy to use - you fill the bowl to the recommended level, put the lid on, plug it into the mains and switch it on. There are a number of light options ranging from one static colour, strobe effect, neutral or no light. You can add oils to the water bowl however ...

Review of JML Fresh Air Globe

Globe trotting

Advantages: Shows major cities, countries and rivers.
Disadvantages: None

Globe. With Little Miss constantly asking where places are and wanting to know their position in relation to where we live, we decided it was about time she had a globe. They are used frequently in the classroom, so I figured it would be something she would have come across, and would know vaguely how to use. We decided on this one, because it was reasonably priced and light in weight, (if it falls, it won't do any damage) and best of all, it lights up. ~~THE GLOBE~~ The globe itself looks like a globe! It stands about 15" from its black base to the top, so won't be taking up too much room. The on/off switch for the light is on the wire and is the type typically found on lamps. The globe is apparently shows a political map when illuminated, but at the moment, this is of little relevance to our needs. What is ...
