The film is a cross between zombie genre meets cop movie meets Sci-Fi. And its actually a cracker!
It starts with two detectives who are very close friends as well as colleagues. Eddie and Mike are out on a case one night when mike mysteriously disappears. He is ambushed by the minions of the super crime boss. Mike is injected with the new wonder drug, 'Ozone'.
Meanwhile Eddie set off looking for him and is quite violent about it, he too is almost captured but doesn't get away scot Free receives a small dose of Ozone.
The drug enslaves all who take it making their minds slaved to the super bosses demands. It also changes their bodies and Eddie fights not only his zombie changing body with the effects of the drug on his mind, all the while looking for his friend.

Detectives Eddie Boone and Mike Weitz are on a stake out when they spot The Crime bosses top henchman and Mike trails him but disappears in the process. Eddie sets out to find his partner but ends up being injected with a mysterious black drug.
This new drug has strange effects on Eddie and he is soon in the thick of a huge conspiracy involving intelligent transforming zombies. Which he himself may soon join if he doesn't crack the many leads and puzzles standing in front of him.
Oh and he needs to stay alive along the way, what with looking for his partner, attempted assassinations from the crime boss and his own drug and DNA changes he has his work cut out for himself.

Review number 471 and this is a little different from the previous Gospel/R&B of Yolanda Adams which I reviewed last. A while back I had bought an album by Thea Gilmore on amazon and was given the usual "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought". One of the albums that was included in this section was "One Cell In The Sea by A Fine Frenzy.
