OZONE

The film is a cross between zombie genre meets cop movie meets Sci-Fi. And its actually a cracker!
It starts with two detectives who are very close friends as well as colleagues. Eddie and Mike are out on a case one night when mike mysteriously disappears. He is ambushed by the minions of the super crime boss. Mike is injected with the new wonder drug, 'Ozone'.
Meanwhile Eddie set off looking for him and is quite violent about it, he too is almost captured but doesn't get away scot Free receives a small dose of Ozone.
The drug enslaves all who take it making their minds slaved to the super bosses demands. It also changes their bodies and Eddie fights not only his zombie changing body with the effects of the drug on his mind, all the while looking for his friend.
This film whilst not the best acted has great ...

Advantages: Gives a twist to zombie genre Disadvantages: Not enough gone into it
changes he becomes more like the 'Brothers'.
The Brotherhood of Ozone is a new and potentially world changing sect and Eddie finds himself at its heart.
~Opinions~
*************
I normally avoid zombie movies like the plague, no pun intended, except 'Shaun of the Dead' of course. However this one has a cracking Sci-Fi twist that puts a new spin on the whole genre.
The special effects are not that special and the zombie make up is poor.
There is next to no background of the main characters and they just 'get on with it' right from the start of the film.
The story trundles along at a good pace which is its saving grace.
The ending is poor as though the director wanted it all over, it just ends too quickly.

Advantages: None over a PC or Laptop Disadvantages: Constant interuption when playing on demand programmes
The IMP came with old software that needed updating online and involved calls to the service department who were helpful but very offhand bordering on rude.
Once working (?) the system appears to work reasonably well listening to live broadcasts.
However, if you intend to use this to listen to BBC on demand then think again. The system constantly buffers i.e. a buffer is a region of memory used to temporarily holds data while it is being moved from one place to another. The buffering usually ensures smooth playing of video games music etc online.
When listening to BBC Listen Again the buffering is so band that I have experienced 10 seconds music followed by 15 seconds silence while the IMP buffers the next music bite. The constant interruptions make the IMP little more than useless.
