...i bought the original version of this rocker for my baby 6 months ago so I am reviewing the older version of this which is basically just slightly different-it is longer and has a carrying handle but the functions and the extras are just the same. The look The bouncer is really nice to look at as it's in very neutral colours so fits with most colour schemes and isn't too in your face like a lot of baby equipment which can be bright blue or pink. This one comes in neutral colours- fawn and pale green or the newer version grey and white. The hood and bears The bouncer is different others on the market as it comes with a hood to pull over the top which can help sheild the baby from sunlight or drafts as well as make it nice and cosy which can aid your baby to sleep. ...A door bouncer has to be undoubtedly one of the best baby-kit inventions ever. For those who don't know, it's a swing-like contraption that is mounted in the doorway on a spring and thus allows a correctly inserted child to bounce up and down as they touch the ground with their toes. There are different designs, I have used three so far and I think this one from Lindam is an excellent one: the fact that it has been sold in pretty much the same format for a good few years means it must be getting things right! This bouncer is intended for children from the age they can hold their head up firmly. This will be usually some time round 3-4 months, but be guided by your child. ...When you are expecting a child everyone tells you that you will need this & that, one thing everyone did tell me was to get a good bouncy chair so just before I was due we went on the hunt for a good chair. I was very surprised at the price of some of the chairs, they tend to range from £20 - £80, we wanted one that had a toy bar & one that vibrated. After some searching we found the Think Pink Baby Bouncer in Mothercare & it looked like just what we had been looking for, it was priced at £39.99, before we purchased it we decided to see if we could find it any cheaper on the internet & sure enough good old Amazon had it for £25.99 with free delivery so we bought it straight away.
