...I joined Peak Fitness after my not-so-brilliant experiences with the Gloucester Esporta (see other op). Peak Fitness is about 5 minutes from our new house, and had been reccomended to me by several people at work. So, shortly after Christmas I decided i'd better wear off all that turkey and mince pies and join the gym. **Who are they** Peak Fitness is a chain club, but a lot smaller than the likes of Esporta and Fitness First. They have gyms in Cheltenham, Gloucester, Docklands, Palmers Green, Woking, Worcester, Whitley Bay, Tonbridge & 2 in Newcastle. They are also known as Arena in Northern Ireland. You can use any of these gyms as a member for no extra cost. **Facilities** The Gloucester club is situated on the outskirts of the city, in a large open shopping area. Advantages: Cheap.
Disadvantages: No nose or throat adjustment.

.... It did last well though. It is a webbing material which is fairly soft, not bad. What makes is standard is, it only has a buckle adjustment at the crown, where it does up. This is satisfactory for most horses and alright if they are of a standard size. The Cottage Craft Fully Adjustable Headcollar is adjustable in three places, nose, thoat and crown. This obviously makes for more adjustment, some horses have wider noses so one that is not adjustable at the nose could be quite tight. The standard headcollar like most, is available in pony, cob and full. Disadvantages. * * * * * * * * * * * * The Standard Cottage Craft Headcollar is alright for everyday use. ...For those of you out looking for a new frame, i'd recommend purchasing a Marine Quake frame. I bought a marine Quake 9 a few months back and its certianly given me value for money, and is one of the most sturdy bikes i've had. The Marine Quake frame comes in three colour scheme those being a combination of grey yellow red and blue. The Quake 9 model has a yellow and grey paint job and looks rather plush. The frame comes in a range of sizes, but being a dirt jumping/Dual bike those sizes are generally small (my own model is a 13" frame). The tubing is triangular in shape, which from your science lessons will tell you adds to strength. Where the top and down tubes meet, extra triangular plates have been welded on to give the bike some strength (especially for those of you thinking of running tripple crown forks). The chain stays...
