Palmer Halo

Advantages: Excellent Waterproofing, Very Bright, Reliable
Disadvantages: Bit lardy, poor bracket, price

...but quite dim halo around the central bright spot. This light works well in lit areas, where visibility to other road users is important. In unlit areas, the tight beam and wide halo is a serious handicap. The lack of spread will force you to slow down on road. Off-road it will serve as an emergency get you home light, if time gets away with you and you get caught by failing light. It works quite well at dusk when riding tree covered single track. It is not a light to be used off road at night. You need proper off-road lights for this. I do use it as a backup light. Turning it on when riding off-road means that I'm not plunged into sudden darkness if my main lights suddenly fail - which has happened on more than one occasion. it also serves as a handy torch in the event you have to conduct roadside repairs. ...I joined Peak Fitness after my not-so-brilliant experiences with the Gloucester Esporta (see other op). Peak Fitness is about 5 minutes from our new house, and had been reccomended to me by several people at work. So, shortly after Christmas I decided i'd better wear off all that turkey and mince pies and join the gym. **Who are they** Peak Fitness is a chain club, but a lot smaller than the likes of Esporta and Fitness First. They have gyms in Cheltenham, Gloucester, Docklands, Palmers Green, Woking, Worcester, Whitley Bay, Tonbridge & 2 in Newcastle. They are also known as Arena in Northern Ireland. You can use any of these gyms as a member for no extra cost. **Facilities** The Gloucester club is situated on the outskirts of the city, in a large open shopping area. THE ADVANTAGES: Speed: This marker's strongpoint is speed it can shoot about 27bps (with the right tweaking) and if you hopper can keep up (a hopper is what you store your paint in and it feeds the paintballs into the marker's chamber) i use a halo b (hopper) with a v35 board, this hopper is electronic and will kepp up with nearly everything due to its fast feed rate (up to 35 bps feed rate). The trigger adds to its speed being fully adjustable!! You could make it however you want it; short or long a mouse click or a large pull, the changes are endless. Accuracy: This marker will shoot where you want the paint to go, it is very accurate and with all that speed combined with the accuracy you will have accurate streams of paint flying down that field making the enemy tremble!!
