Paste

... Paste definitely works best during the summer months when the fish are more active. Like I said with the corn though, if you know of somewhere that is well enough stocked to allow you to catch all year round, then it will probably still work there when it gets colder. Also, during the ... Read review

Bogey Balls

Advantages: easy to use eventually. Catches loads (carp especially)
Disadvantages: Paste takes a while to get the hang of, but don’t worry if a few things go wrong initially. Not such a good all round bait. Better for the bigger fish.

...engulf the hook, then the paste needs to be soft enough for you to be able to pull the hook out of it on the strike (so that you can catch the fishies).

Often people will make their own pastes. This is definitely a cheaper way of doing it. All you need is some crushed trout pellets, maybe a few flavourings if you really want to use them, some water, and possibly an egg. Just mix them all together and spend some time making it all look ...
...the float just over-depth, the paste (which would sink the float if set to shallow) is resting on the bottom, with quite a tight line between it and the float. You can then drag the pole to the side slightly, pulling the line between the pole tip and the float tight so that the float is nearly being dragged under. This basically means that you have a tight line between the pole and the bait. This makes bites unmissable as the float will often really ... more

To be used in private!

Advantages: Works your muscles harder whilst feeling quite relaxing and addictive.
Disadvantages: Your wobbly bits shake from head to toe and you sound like a robot!

I have been using this machine for the past two weeks. I had previously used one at my local gym but the wait to get on the machine could be lengthy as it has proved so popular with people of all ages. The one I now have at home seems to be almost as powerful as the more expensive model in the gym and I can use it when I want. It has proved useful for getting more from exercises such as sit-ups and press-ups as the constant vibration really makes you use your core, concentrate on staying balanced and seemingly makes your muscles work harder. People I know who have used the machine for a few months believe their muscle tone to be improving! I have also found my recovery to be better after a long run if I use the machine whilst doing stretches. The reason I suggest using the machine in private is that many of the stretches ...

Disapointing Footwear

Advantages: Kept feet Dry
Disadvantages: Dont last and poorly manafactured

I have been extremely disappointed with my Gortex Hillmaster walking boots. I am now on my third pair, the first 2 pairs had to be replaced because the ankle supports split, Now the third have completely worn down on the heels exposing the soft spongy substance underneath. This has happened in just over 1 year despite most of my walking being done on soft ground, I have nothing unusual about my walking style and am not overweight. These boots are not of the quality they once were renowned for and at the price they are, you would expect something better. I will never buy a pair of these boots again as in my opinion they most certainly don?t represent good value for money. I have purchased boots in the past that have cost about one quarter of the cost yet they have lasted a least four times as long. ...
