**********Width/Size**********
I am an E/F width, I have one foot sized 7 ½ and the other an 8, which is a pain, which is why I couldn't go up to the next size as the 7 ½ foot would have been too lose in a nine so I have a size 8 which is quite a good snug fit. The boot does however only go up to a size eight, but there is always men's?! The width is good for me too, however I keep the lower section of the boot loser when I tie my laces and the ankle support quite tight to secure my foot and prevent it slipping in my boot.
**********Price**********
PeterStorm is often a slightly cheaper make to other competitors like North Face, Regatta, Gore-Tex or Berghaus. These boots had an RRP of 49.99GBP, however now it is 59.99GBP. When I bought mine...

Advantages: Strong, safe, very protective and extremely comfortable Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
...of whisking sweat away from your skin. I cut the ankle protection sock off because it wasn't needed and they still fit fine. I've found the protection they offer is superb. They've saved me from injury many times and now need replacing (with another pair of Coolmax guards!) They are the most comfortable shinguards I have ever worn, and as someone who needs to wear shinguard protection for up to 20 hours at a time comfort is really important, and these are the best I've ever found.

A pedal in the shin is very VERY painful, but I've smacked the pedal into my shin many times on rides when I've been wearing the Coolmax guards and never once have I been even slightly hurt. They've stopped EVERYTHING that's been thrown at them at work and on the bike...

Pretty good, ey? Ive worn these for a 2 day walk in the Lake District, and have not had one blister yet! A lot of you keen walkers will know that that is one thing that is difficult to not bring back with you after a couple of days away!
I own a pair of Goretex boots, and my socks seem to be able to work well between the systems, helping my feet to breathe which is a great advantage , helping me to walk those last few miles pain and sweat free!
Each ascent sock is made from 49% Coolmax®, 27% Merino wool, 23% Nylon and 1% Lycra.
The cool max to help the sock keep...
