..., but not once did I twist my ankle. The boot has a great deal of support around the heel with lots of padding on the fabric inside lining. The overall boot is durable and also waterproof. It has a sewn in leather tongue so there are no gaps between the boot and the tongue as it is all in one to prevent water getting in to the inside of the boot. Technically you would be able to stand in water up to above your ankle in depth and not get wet as the leather creates a waterproof cover (providing you keep the boot care up and look after it). The boot is also breathable so it limits sweating from your feet with in the foot. **********Quality********** Peter Storm is a very well known and respected make in the 'outdoors' industry. Advantages: Good insulation, plenty of pocket space
Disadvantages: Takes time to dry out if wet through. Hood is flimsy.

...I had thought that it was next to impossible to find a coat that was provided warmth in the winter but could also be used as a raincoat at other times of the year without causing you to overheat. I also didn't think that I'd find an outdoor jacket that I could wear in the city without standing out. However, a combination of fleece insulation, zip vents and a sensible colour make this jacket suitable for a variety of situations . The price was also much lower than I expected. Firstly, there is plenty of pocket space: one inside pockets, two large sidepockets, and pocket on each sleeve. The sidepockets are even large enough to fit small books or maps. There is also fleece insulation on the inside that make the jacket ideal for winter use. It's just a shame that it's not detachable, but the vent zips in the armpit area help... Read review

Advantages: Cheap, many colours to choose from.
Disadvantages: Cant be too tight or too loose

...My one horse is an Oldenburg and he has very fine hair and very thin skin if that makes sense! So after a few months I started to notice on his legs he was losing a bit of hair, which was a bit worrying. After thinking about it I suddenly realised his brushing boots were starting to rub away his hair, especially when he sweated. After going to my local saddlers I came away with a pack of 4 fleece exercise banages in the Lilac colour (he is a grey and wanted him to look pretty!!) and I couldnt wait to try them on him! As they are fleece you dont need to use the gamgee underneath them as they dont rub! Now after using them for nearly a year his fur has grown back and his hasnt rubbed since which is great! They are great to wash, they dont shrink if you tumble dry them and they come up looking as good as new. However the only downside... Read review
