Advantages: (+)Waterproof, (+) Breathable, (+) Sturdy, (+) Good quality, (+) Well Priced Disadvantages: (-) Leather boots need taking care of
..., but not once did I twist my ankle. The boot has a great deal of support around the heel with lots of padding on the fabric inside lining. The overall boot is durable and also waterproof. It has a sewn in leather tongue so there are no gaps between the boot and the tongue as it is all in one to prevent water getting in to the inside of the boot. Technically you would be able to stand in water up to above your ankle in depth and not get wet as the leather creates a waterproof cover (providing you keep the boot care up and look after it). The boot is also breathable so it limits sweating from your feet with in the foot.

Advantages: Good insulation, plenty of pocket space Disadvantages: Takes time to dry out if wet through. Hood is flimsy.
...I had thought that it was next to impossible to find a coat that was provided warmth in the winter but could also be used as a raincoat at other times of the year without causing you to overheat. I also didn't think that I'd find an outdoor jacket that I could wear in the city without standing out. However, a combination of fleece insulation, zip vents and a sensible colour make this jacket suitable for a variety of situations . The price was also much lower than I expected.
Firstly, there is plenty of pocket space: one inside pockets, two large sidepockets, and pocket on each sleeve. The sidepockets are even large enough to fit small books or maps.
There is also fleece insulation on the inside that make the jacket ideal for winter use. It's just a shame that it's not detachable, but the vent zips in the armpit area help...

Advantages: comfortable, performance, good looks... Disadvantages: kevlar damages shorts? uncomfortable?
...The Flite titanium saddle and its previous incarnations have been my choice of saddle for around the last eight years on some of my mountain bikes.
Lets be clear, the differences between Selle Italia's range of Flite asddles is pretty small in general. You pick your material; leather or kevlar and then you pick the standard shape or the Alpe which is a little more cut off at the back which makes it fractionally lighter and a little easier to move your weight over the back of the wheel when on steep descents etc.
There is one obvious disadvantage to this saddle and that is that the shape might not be to everyone’s liking, its pretty small and does take some getting used to. Another disadvantage which I've discovered through use was that some of my shorts (including lycra) seemed to bobble a little which became rally annoying...
