Jack Starks is shot in the head during the Gulf War, where he is serving in the military. Escaping death, he is discharged under medical reasons suffering bouts of amnesia. Hitchhiking through Vermont he comes across a broken down truck. The mother is wasted and throwing up all over the roadside while her young daughter stands there helplessly waiting for someone to come along. Jack fixes the car and gives his dog tags to the enchanting little girl, Jackie, just before her mother bundles her into the car and they drive off leaving Jack behind. Later another driver picks him up and they head off. Not long after they are pulled over by the police, who is unfortunately shot by said driver and due to Jack's bouts of amnesia he is set up as the shooter. His trial concludes he is not guilty by reasons of insanity and he is sent to Alpen ...

Review of The Jacket (DVD)

You will definatly be storming ahead in these!

Advantages: (+)Waterproof, (+) Breathable, (+) Sturdy, (+) Good quality, (+) Well Priced
Disadvantages: (-) Leather boots need taking care of

not once did I twist my ankle. The boot has a great deal of support around the heel with lots of padding on the fabric inside lining. The overall boot is durable and also waterproof. It has a sewn in leather tongue so there are no gaps between the boot and the tongue as it is all in one to prevent water getting in to the inside of the boot. Technically you would be able to stand in water up to above your ankle in depth and not get wet as the leather creates a waterproof cover (providing you keep the boot care up and look after it). The boot is also breathable so it limits sweating from your feet with in the foot. **********Quality********** Peter Storm is a very well known and respected make in the 'outdoors' industry. Review of Peter Storm Women's Skiddaw Leather Boot

Both warm and waterproof. An excellent choice.

Advantages: Good insulation, plenty of pocket space
Disadvantages: Takes time to dry out if wet through. Hood is flimsy.

I had thought that it was next to impossible to find a coat that was provided warmth in the winter but could also be used as a raincoat at other times of the year without causing you to overheat. I also didn't think that I'd find an outdoor jacket that I could wear in the city without standing out. However, a combination of fleece insulation, zip vents and a sensible colour make this jacket suitable for a variety of situations . The price was also much lower than I expected. Firstly, there is plenty of pocket space: one inside pockets, two large sidepockets, and pocket on each sleeve. The sidepockets are even large enough to fit small books or maps. There is also fleece insulation on the inside that make the jacket ideal for winter use. It's just a shame that it's not detachable, but the vent zips in the armpit area help to ...
