Advantages: Friendly department, variety of modules, ranked in world top 20 Disadvantages: Heavy workload, department need a bit of renovation
...This review is intended not only for those deciding between which university they may choose to do a physics degree, but also, for those who are trying to decide if physics is the degree for them.
The physics department at UCL is a somewhat medium sized department, with approximately 140-170 new undergraduates joining each year. Located in the very heart of the main university campus, with libraries, cafeteria, student union, theatre, several museums, and transport links all within 5 minutes walk away, and only a 15 minute bus ride to Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street, so everything really is close at hand.
The department itself seems to lack charm, and could do with some modernisation to make it more welcoming, although, this is now slowly taking place. But don't let this put you off, because under the paintwork, and behind...

Advantages: One of the finest albums created by the greatest commercial rock band ever Disadvantages: A couple of weaker songs but that is it.
...A double album of complete and utter bona fide quality. This is arguably Zeppelins finest piece of studio work; only Led zeppelin II comes close really. It has an abstract quality, but yet has the simplest riffs and words. This is a fine blend of the bands various talents; it truly is their version of Frankenstein’s monster, an assortment of good parts used to create a perfect lasting imprint on music history. If you want a led zeppelin album to kick-start your collection, start with the best.
This album is one of those rare albums that encapsulates everything...

It has many styles, from out and out rocker, to boogie, to classical. First track Custard Pie is one of the rockers, with a wah wah guitar and even a Nutbush City Limits type organ sound in the background - what a way to start.
I found the inclusion of the track called "Houses of the Holy" very confusing, since the Zeppelin album called "Houses of the Holy" was released two years earlier, in 1973. When Plant sings "let me take you to the movie? can I make your garden grow" ("Houses of the Holy") we know he's not talking about helping out with a spot of rose pruning. Oh no, as he says in, he...
