Swing Balls for Therapy!

Advantages: Gives aerobic exercise and encourages good co-ordination.
Disadvantages: Can be dangerous if not used with care.

the ball is likely to hit them. As all physical activity may result in injury, especially if proper care isn?t taken, some first aid in the form of a bag of frozen peas could come in handy to reduce pain or inflammation if someone gets hit with the ball or falls over. If you are going to play competitively both players must be evenly matched to have fun. If one player is only slightly weaker, then letting that player use their forehand, while the other uses their backhand may be enough to even things up. About ten years ago we bought our daughter a Swingball, as we preferred her to play with a ball in our garden rather than the street, where the ball may be chased after without giving a motorist enough time to stop. Its on the ball

Advantages: efective little cleaner
Disadvantages: Noisy

I have a small home so when I needed a new vacuum cleaner I chose the Dyson DC24 which is a smaller version of the standard model. It cost £189.99. The ball makes vacuuming effortless, and the head of the vacuum is narrow so its easy to get under the sofa, low tables, etc. It has strong suction as you would expect from a Dyson but it is surprising how full the cylinder is when you have finished. It really gets everything up. This does mean however that you need to empty the dust cylinder quite frequently. The power cable is short and not retractable which can look a bit untidy if it is ...

Physics - UCL

Advantages: Friendly department, variety of modules, ranked in world top 20
Disadvantages: Heavy workload, department need a bit of renovation

This review is intended not only for those deciding between which university they may choose to do a physics degree, but also, for those who are trying to decide if physics is the degree for them. The physics department at UCL is a somewhat medium sized department, with approximately 140-170 new undergraduates joining each year. Located in the very heart of the main university campus, with libraries, cafeteria, student union, theatre, several museums, and transport links all within 5 minutes walk away, and only a 15 minute bus ride to Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street, so everything really is close at hand. The department itself seems to lack charm, and could do with some modernisation to make it more welcoming, although, this is now slowly taking place. But don't let this put you off, because under the paintwork, and behind ...
