PING CRAZ-E G2I PUTTER
Review of Ping All Series Putters by
dirtycash_uk
Advantages: bye bye 3 putts
Disadvantages: some people may find ugly
...I bought one of these very funny looking putters back in July and it is the best £120 i have ever spent in all my 10 years playing golf.
I was in the market for a new putter and most of my friends used the odyssey 2 ball model. I tried this out many times but never really got on with them. My pro suggested i try out this new model from Ping and i have never looked back.
I find this putter so easy to allign with my golf ball its unreal. You just use the line on the back and swing through with a smooth motion in a straight line and it really is that simple. I used to suffer from about six foot in but my scores have really started to drop since buying this odd looking creation!! Putting is all about confidence and this has given me loads. I honestly cannot remamber the last time i three putted since buying this.
The gip...

Ping G5 irons
Review of Ping I5 Irons by
silkyuk9
Advantages: Custom fit,
Disadvantages: none
...all this done at your local Ping stockist, or on the Ping UK website, however I would not recommend that as I was advised on the 'gold dot' online but at my ping fitting I was told green dot was the correct one for me.
Right after all that I had better tell you about the irons.
In the last year i have had 2 sets of irons, in the past 3 years I have had around 4 sets, each on off the shelf. I have had Callaway X14, Lynx blackcat, Nike slingshot, Wilson 1200, but always felt that the clubs where not right for me. I rand up my local Ping specialist and booked a fitting, and received my irons around 2 weeks later. i had not played golf in around 3 weeks, and was very impressed with the feel. Being a 18 handicapper i'm proned to making mistakes, and my main mistake in not being able to play consistant. My irons did lay flush on the ground...

Ping G5 Hybrid Golf Club
Review of Ping G5 Hybrid by
ccundall
Advantages: Easy to strike, good ball control, flexible
Disadvantages: Cost
...for a slightly off-centre strike that you ended-up having to be as accurate as a professional to master them.
So the club pro suggested I forget the X-20's (which I didn't like anyway) and replaced my 3 and 4 irons with a hybrid. In the end I tried 3 different hybrid clubs, all of which are equivalent to a standard 4 iron, a Callaway steel shaft, a Cobra standard graphite shaft and the Ping G5 graphite shaft. All these clubs had a loft of 23/24 degrees.
I was instantly impressed as my first few shots with each club sailed well past the 185 yard mark with little effort, but whats important with this type of club is that you can hit them high enough to be able to get them to land on the green and stop quickly, not hit the green and bounce right off. I've found that I can hit the Ping 24 degree loft hybrid as high as a 7 iron. The reason I went...
