Advantages: Easy to strike, good ball control, flexible Disadvantages: Cost
...for the PingG5 24 degree hybrid was all down to how easy the club was to hit. I found the Callaway and Cobra hybrid to be slightly more unforgiving, some shots would fly very low and a short distance whereas the ping was easy to hit high in the air and accurately.
Since purchasing the Ping hybrid I've used it for 4 rounds and absolutely love it. Its effective off-the-tee and off-the-fairway, but most of all out of the rough, some say better than a standard 4 iron out of the rough. I've also found that its quite adaptable, you can use it to hit a low bump-and-run type shot from off the fairway to avoid hitting low tree branches, or a full-blooded 200 yard strike at a green.
In terms of cost, it isn't the cheapest club available, I paid £100 for mine after negotiating this down from £120. The other two clubs mentioned in this review were...

...Ok, i'm not going to bore you with the science of golf irons, if a reveiwer started going on about the science you would be so confused that you wouldn't know which iron to get.
ping irons are one of the best irons any golfer can buy, not only do ping custom fot you out that also provide you with the iron which is best for you.
Go into any golf shop and you can buy a number of makes straight off the shelf, but what if you are 6 foot 5, or 5 foot 6? all the irons on the shelf are the same size and have the same degree of lie on the floor. Ping irons have 10 different degree of lie ranging from: gold to maroon 'dot', the dot on the golf club is spasific to how you hold the club, and how you place it on the floor. lets go back to the shelf iron. If you are 6 foot 5 say the iron may not lay on the floor flush and the toe end...

...Due to the new R&A rules on Drivers and the limits on the trampoline effect the face can have (COR) I was forced to get rid of my Taylor Made XR-03.
After a little looking around and trying a few of my friends driver (Titleist and King Cobra mainly) I decided to give a pingG5 a try. Recently Ping brough out a newer / updated driver (the G10) priced at about £180 so I hoped the G5 would come down significantly but sadly not, they were still retailing for about £145 / £155, so I set about getting one from e-bay, where generally they retail at between £80 and £95 - much more reasonable.
The 460cc titanium head is best described as round with a deep face (as opposed to the more elongated profile and shallower face of some newer drivers) and finshed in black with a white half moon (including a small black line in the middle) to assist...

When the DS was made, Nintendo has the good idea of putting in a chat program, Pictochat, for free. So why did THQ think that making their own copy of it for £29.99 would sell?
THQ decided to add more things to their version though. They added little... more
