Another area where the Ping anser comes into its own is in terms of its custom options - there are a great variety of shaft lenghts from 32'' up to 37'' and also lies - from 4 degrees flat to 5 degress upright giving 10 variations, even the loft can be customied, as standard the face has 3 degrees of loft which is perfect for most but this can be altered

As the above hopefully shows the design is simple, yet it is much imitated (the Scotty Cameron 'Newport' is a copy of the anser). It has great balance and gives a very good true roll off the face.

The original anser 2 putters were manafuctured in a number of materials - copper, nickel, stainless steel, and manganese bronze like mine. This is the softest of the materials so gives great feel yet it still wears very well as the face is still in very very good condition.
As mentioned at the start my putter is now quite old and can't be purchased new although ping are about to introduce a new 'karsten' range of putters which include the anser, however they can be picked up on e-bay for between £15 and £40. How much the new Karsten range will be I can't say.
To sum it up - This is a great putter which will deliver great results for most golfers
