I've been playing golf since I was about 12 and in the last 10 years I've worked my handicap down, so it fluctuates around the 7 mark. The vast majority of that time I played with some second hand Wilson Staff blades, which did the job fine.

At least I thought they did, until I invested in these Ping irons. They are beautiful golf clubs, both to look at and strike the ball with. They are accurate, or as accurate as I can be, hit the ball a good distance and best of all they're forgiving. I don't need to hit that 3 Iron just right in order to hit it 200 yards, I know even a mishit won't be a disaster. That gives me real confidence.

I know my dad has also played with them, and was so impressed that he swapped his Titleists for some Pings, and he's now loving them too. I know they're a bit on the expensive side, but you will be using them for years. Regardless of how your handicap changes, these irons will still do the job.

A worthwhile investment.
