Advantages: You don't need to be a member to use the facilities Disadvantages: Certain parts may be shut due to private events
Living in Dover means that we don't have too many facilities. Dover LeisureCentre is about the only sporting facility in Dover other than the football and rugby pitches.
Location
Dover LeisureCentre is located on Townwall Street in Dover which is pretty much on the seafront and within walking distance to the Port of Dover. It is also within walking distance of Dover town, Dover Priory Station and Pencester bus station.

There are two swimming pools at Dover LeisureCentre. There is a main swimming pool which is 25 metres and also a learner / childrens pool. In the main pool, there are two lanes of the swimming pool which are sectioned off to create one slow, and one fast swimming lane.

Members are generally serious about their health and you very rarely see someone jogging whilst glued to their mobile!
Being a leisurecentre and gym means that its a family friendly environment but you are not invaded by young children and teenagers as you're trying to get through your workout. The gym was recently upgraded and a childrens suite installed for certain age-groups to train in safety.
