Gotta picka potti or two?

The Thetford Porta Potti 465 - to give it its full name - has been a godsend! Now, I'll 'fess up straight away. I am not a caravaner, and the last time I went camping was in the 1970s when I was a kid.
So why have I spent over a hundred quid on one of these? We've been having an extension built, and have lost the use of the bathroom and toilet. So, I installed a porta potti on the upstairs landing for Mrs Tweaker - who's heavily pregnant - while ... ...are the advantages of a Porta Potti? It's small, so you can tuck it away in a corner. It's fairly easy to keep clean, and easy to use.
Think of it as two containers: the bottom one takes the waste, and the top one - which you sit on - takes the water for flushing. When you need 2p

Advantages: It goes where you want to go.
Disadvantages: None.
When I need to, I find the nearest vacant loo, but that's not always an option, particularly if you're camped out.
Everyone knows about the stories, digging holes, hiding in the bushes etc. But why bother when you could have your own personal, portable loo.
The Porta-Pottie range is a sure way to find relief. They are cheap, lightweight, comfortable for both sexes and if you're the fussy type, even come in a range of different colours and shapes.
... ...unique, and with the later designs are very clean and simple to use. In fact with a bit of practice they can even smell nice.
The model we purchased is a split design to enable emptying and filling without the need to carry the whole unit, but that is just by choice. The cheaper more basic loo's are an all in one type thing, thus making them a lot more clumsy, especially when full. I know because we used to have one, that was until I stored it in ...
