I did quite a lot of research before plumping for this. Lured by the idea of finishing 18 holes while still feeling quite fresh I dug deep and spent what I consider to be a lot of money - £530 - for the trolley together with a Powakaddy Deluxe bag, Rain Cover & Unbrella Holder. This was no easy decision, I am in my 30's and regularly play with guys in their 50's and 60's who manfully battle on with a carry bag so I knew I'd get some stick. And I have to say, it was a great decision. And I think that secretly my playing partners are quite jealous. I have always considered Powakaddy to be the Rolls Royce of powered trolleys and so far my perception has proved correct. I have friends who spent £150 - £200 on other makes and their experience has been woeful, it's all too often back at the manufacturers being repaired under warranty rather ...

Having seen one of our friends children turn into some psycho whirling tornado following three or four sips of a Fruit Shoot, we decided early on that water, milk and natural fruit juices where the way to go with Daisy. This didn't prove to be a problem while she was little as she just had water and milk in her bottle. Oh the excitement! She loved them but we had to be really strict about Mummy or Daddy holding the carton and Daisy holding the straw which made it a lot less fun. Then what should drop through my letter box but the latest Great Little Trading Co (GLTC) catalogue. Upon browsing through it found these - the Juice Box Holders.

I have used both of the salt lick holders in both my stables and I not too impressed with either of them.
The salt lick holder (not the grill) was easy to fit and screw onto the wall (my one stable was wooden so just needed an electric screwdriver and normal screws) which was a good start!! The salt lick I bought fitted in fine with no problems as the saddlers were unsure whether it was the right salt lick for the holder!
A few days passed and I noticed my horse had made an attempt of licking it but nothing too distastrous! After a few weeks I was mucking out the stable to see that the salt had begun to make the holder rust (I bought the metal holder) and the salt had started to crust around the bottom of the holder. Not a good sign! I immediately took it out the holder and got my partner to unscrew the holder and take it down.
