The basic storyline is that Fast Eddie wants to be known as the best player and hustler in the world, and the only way he sees himself achieving this accolade is to defeat the so far unbeatable and unrivaled Minnesota Fats. Minnesota Fats, played by Jackie Gleason, is a tall, elegantly dressed, fuller figured, maestro pool player that has not been beaten in over 15 years. He swaggers and floats around the table with the finesse of a swan, and strokes the cue like a violinist. Fast Eddie plays Minnesota Fats ten minutes into the film and the banter they have leading up to the game is funny and innocent, giving no indication of the thrilling game that is about to begin.

The computer doesn't spend time thinking but instead chalks the cue, (more than once) aims then re-aims then goes back to the original shot selection.

1. The game itself is very user-friendly and easy to start up. Anyone who knows anything about computers will be able to install and play this game.
2. The selection of games available to play in the game. The main ones are pool and snooker but there are variants. These include Speedball - pot 9 balls in any order in the quickest time possible.
