IDEAL FOR LIGHT RECREATION, ROAD USE
Review of Trek 4300 Disc by
MILLSY99
Advantages: Good price, Good looking frame, Smooth disc brakes
Disadvantages: Front Suspension Fork is very poor, esp for off road use
...TREK 4300 DISC
I bought this bike around 4 months ago, in this period it has done 700 miles without so much as breaking down on me, that being said I only use for commuting to work, even though the cycle is classed as a mountain bike, if used off road it would be in need of repair within a couple of hours heavy use the 4300 is a really good bike for someone who is just getting back into cycling/exercising and does,nt want to buy a \"road bike\", I got my 4300 for £400 off the internet with free delivery, there are so many websites out there, so spend a few hours shopping around, you ll def get the deal your looking for, also in the winter months most bike shops online sell last years bike at knockdown prices, prob best time is jan, feb when only the select few are still bombing about...

Burn Baby Burn
Review of Body Sculpture BC1510 Exercise Bike by
Foxy1982
Advantages: Cheap and Reliable
Disadvantages: Uncomfortable Seat
...I am a very keen runner and have been back in training for just over a year now after having a few years off. As part of my quest to get back to the standard I used to be, I incorporate a few sessions a week on my exercise bike, this helps build speed endurance and strength in general.

Now its quite a simple exercise bike, which to me is a positive as all I want it for is for a few training sessions a week and to know the distance I have covered and how long it took me. I know there are alot of other exercise bikes around that will have more gadgets and stats on than this exercise bike, for most...

Healthy Heat
Review of Healthrider Exerciser by
DigitalThing
Advantages: Keeps You fit
Disadvantages: Quite Big
...I found the health rider easy to use. After following the instruction video tht came with mine I found it easy to get into the habit of doing a number of different exercises to develop different muscle groups. The routine lasts about 25-30 minutes.
The advantage with the healthrider is that your using your own weight to help exercise, in effect your lifting yourself up and the way the machine is designed impact on your joints is low.
It is important to make sure that the seat is adjusted correctly and that you warmup first otherwise there is some scope for back injury. But if you follow the video I can't see a problem occuring.
The only disadvantage I can really see comparing the health rider to something like an exercise bike is its "footprint" the handle bars a quite wide and if space is limited it can get in the way. However...
