The gift shop for the Roman Painted House is actually located in the Dover Musuem which is about a five minute walk away.
Opening times.
The Roman painted house is open from April- September between 10.am - 5.00 pm. On Sundays it is open between 2.00pm - 5.00pm.
The Roman painted House is closed on Mondays except during July and August.
Admission prices.
Adults will be charged a £2 entrance fee which I think is very resonable. Children and OAP's will be charged 80p.

Advantages: lots to see, street markets, food markets, great value for money. Disadvantages: they need to invest in developing the place, it needs it.
A few months ago, before this "crunch" (when we could still afford it), we went on a week's trip to oxford, bath & weston-super-mare.
the most intresting one was the trip to bath. we arrived at 09:00 and had the all day to toure the place. the city itself is a small version of an old roman city (it WAS a roman city) in witch the main attraction is the old roman baths (not the only attraction).
the whole city is built on a mountain and so you'll probably have more fun driving there with a 4x4 (i took my toyota land cruiser and felt like a king). the entrance to baths cost about £12 a person but i think it changes by the season. you get a talking device that explains the history of the place as you go inside and lets you stop and look (and hear) about the different intresting points along the way.

of the pub is about twice the size of the other half. In here, there are stalls up near the bar where people can sit, and there are also seats all around the outside of the pub. At the far end there is a small stage and this is used to karaoke nights and for any bands that play here.
Also on this side there is a small area which also resembles a cave; in here there are a leather sofa and two arm chairs which are really comfortable.
The bar inside is an average size large with ample seating. On this side of the pub there are three TV screens which are mounted on the walls. The Roman Quay often shows sorting events such as Football and Rugby games.
Events
The Roman Quay holds theme nights and also has local bands playing. Other events such as birthday parties, stag dos and Halloween parties are held here. They also hold Karaoke nights. ...
