Advantages: Good every day riding board; great value Disadvantages: Board lacks pop, it needs to be a little stiffer on the ends
...The Burton blunt is designed to be a mid-range free-stlye board which can be used for a bit of on piste riding as well.
I find the board to be a good all round performer for free-style riding and on piste especially for such a cheap board - for the price this board is remarkable. The board really should have a bit more pop in it to be classed as a good free-style board though, this is my only real issue with the board - its difficult to any real height while ollie'ing the board - its just not stiff enough
On piste the board is good, very good in-fact, better than any other free-style board I have ridden, the edge is strong and sharp enough to give you the confidence to push the board hard in turns at speed and is flexible enough to allow you to have a lot of fun on the board bending it through 180 nose turns and so on - one problem...

Advantages: Sleek, technologically advanced fabric Disadvantages: expensive at 45.00/55.00 pounds if used for recreation
...The is my chosen suit for competition, and is very popular with many of the top swimmers (often seen in top events, and worn extensively in the olympics).
The Aquablade range consists of the same material in a variety of different cuts. As with all competition suits, you find a style that suits you best, and matches your personal needs. While there is a full leg suit available as well as the high neck variety, i will focus on the olympic back suit.
This is most definetly a competition suit-you wouldnt really have any need to pay over 40.00 for a recreation costume-you are better off purchasing an endurance fabric suit which will last at least 3 times longer. If i remember rightly, these suits, as with many competition suits, are only designed to survive about 30hrs of chlorinated water swimming, so they are not a cheap option...

...O BOY, THIS XTR REAR MECH IS THE DADDY,HE'S SMOOOOTH,STABLE,SHORT&TIGHT,ITS FAST AND RESPONSIVE.VERY HIGHLEY RECOMENDED.
NOW FOR THE CONS, AS MOST XRT, PARTS ITS VERY EXPENSIVE
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT THAY SAY YOU PAY FOR TOP QUALITY.I HAVE USED THE XTR SHORT CAGE REAR MECH ON A RIDE AND IT PERFORMED VERY WELL THE GEAR SHIFT WAS VERY SWIFT WITHOUT ANY GRAUNCHING OR CLICKING. I WOULD ONLY USE THE LONG CAGE FOR CROSS COUNTRY AS IT TENDS TO HAMPER MY STYLE OF RIDEING. WHEN IN COMBO, WITH THE XTR 9 SPEED SHIFTERS AND FRONT MECH THIS KIT WILL BE A CERTIAN WINNER. THIS IS THE BEST SET UP IVE USED AN A VERY WOURTHWILE UP GRAED TO ANY RIDEING STYLE....
