The new Gaggia Titanium that broke!

Advantages: Large water tank, Speedy, Compact, Easy to customise and use
Disadvantages: Body finish could be better for the price; Brew unit (plastic) is not very sturdy

After owning a Krups Crematic combi machine for 5 years, I wanted to own something a step up, although there was nothing really wrong with the Krups and it served me well on a daily basis. Although the new Gaggia Titanium has been out for at least a few months there don't seem to be any reviews of it yet, so I hope this is of help. I was in 2 minds whether to plump for this model or the slightly cheaper Gaggia Synchrony Digital Compact. The main reason the Titanium won was because the water tank was double the size of the Compact, the look was better, and the features were improved. One of the other differences between these two models is the Titanium has an "active" cup-warmer whereas the Compact has a "passive" cup-warmer. Active means it has it's own heater, not just the heat from the machine. So - on with the review. Set-up was ...

Remington R320 R3 Titanium Series

Advantages: A close shave and good quality shaver with Titanium blades
Disadvantages: No charge indicator

Remington R320 R3 Titanium Series Rotary Shaver - Designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA I quote "Now this product will shave you closer than a blade or your money back" wasn't that the claim of Victor Kyam in the 80's well he must have been talking about this shaver. Now having been a wet shave fan for the past twenty five years and after having had some bad experiances with a variety of dry shavers, I thought that the wet razor Gillette Mach 3 was the best thing since sliced bread. NOW ALL THAT'S CHANGED....... Oh look a birthday present from my mother and its a new shaver and considering I have had many a row with my mother when I lived with her over the mess with shaving foam on the mirror she should have known I used a wet shave. Anyway enough of my mothers problems and back to this shaver, I decided that at least I ...

Review of Remington R 320 R3 Titanium

Seiko Titanium Chronograph.

Advantages: Long lasting, light, goot features, looks very nice.
Disadvantages: The glass gets scratched eventually.

I have owned a Seiko Titanium Chronograph for around 8 years now. I bought it when I was about 13, and it's been on my wrist practically every day ever since. I have finally got a new watch now, which is by no means replacing the Seiko, I just wanted another one... First off it is still going after 8 years hard use, so the build quality must be there really. I have never had any problems with it whatsoever and it has had one new battery since I got it. Seiko really do give exceptional value for money, they are a mid-range watch company and make very good watches and a very good price. Okay they're not Swiss, but they do the job! I got this done at Jarrolds a year or so ago for around £15. If I had sent it back to Seiko you'd be looking at close to 100, and as I'd paid £130 for the watch 7 years previously it did not seem like a good ...
