...the pads are good for a person who is just starting up playing for a team they have quite good comfort which i was not expecting i have been bowled at them from a few fast bowlers who i play with and they all say about the same they are good for a person strarting up. when i used the pads for the first time they felt quite good on you which i was expecting as my old pair was like that i only really used them in the indoor areana as i wear my grey niccols when playing outside they fell just like newburys or puma. my overall vision of them is they are good for first time players and players who may just play odd times each season the one good thing with them is the buckles been quite broad. i hope i get my new gear before the english season starts i have bought a full puma set so once i get my puma gear i will comment on it.... ...The Flite titanium saddle and its previous incarnations have been my choice of saddle for around the last eight years on some of my mountain bikes. There is one obvious disadvantage to this saddle and that is that the shape might not be to everyone’s liking, its pretty small and does take some getting used to. Another disadvantage which I've discovered through use was that some of my shorts (including lycra) seemed to bobble a little which became rally annoying and made teh shorts look cheap and almost 'naff' whilst I don;t think the kevlar pannels actually gained me any grip or helped teh longevity of the saddle over the standard leather versions. ...The Flite titanium saddle and its previous incarnations have been my choice of saddle for around the last eight years on some of my mountain bikes. Lets be clear, the differences between Selle Italia's range of Flite asddles is pretty small in general. You pick your material; leather or kevlar and then you pick the standard shape or the Alpe which is a little more cut off at the back which makes it fractionally lighter and a little easier to move your weight over the back of the wheel when on steep descents etc. There is one obvious disadvantage to this saddle and that is that the shape might not be to everyone’s liking, its pretty small and does take some getting used to.
