Advantages: added distance and control Disadvantages: a bit expensive
...I have been playing golf for many years now and after trying many different types of cheaper balls I though lets splash out and buy some Nike balls. I only bought three but my game has improved dramatically.
A lot of research is put into making a golf ball and no expense is spared. I mean Nike must be doing something right because Tiger Woods and many other famous golfers would not be using Nike golf balls if they weren’t up to standard.
Since I first bought my Nike golf balls I can drive the ball an extra 30 to 40 yards. I hook the ball less and my slice has been reduced as well. I can’t say that Nike alone can make my the new Tiger Woods, because no matter how much you spend you can still not be the best golfer. To become a better golfer requires dedication, commitment, and a lot of practice.

Advantages: Cheap to purchase. Virtually indestructable. Travels a long way. Disadvantages: Hard to control, with little or no spin control.
...~ ~ Golf balls these days are as varied and different as the various different types of golfers who use them. They have come a long way since the early days of golf, when the golf ball was a simple leather pouch filled with goose or duck feathers!
~ ~ The appliance of science has led to today’s modern golf balls being miniature technological miracles, that are practically aerodynamically perfect. Advantages: Good quality clothes at competative prices Disadvantages: Use tried and tested designs not fashion leader.
...I have been looking for practical, reasonably priced every day golf wear ever since being spoilt by my visit to New York in November 2002.
On a visit to Norwich I found a lovely selection of Stylo golf clothes for ladies. I was tempted to purchase a pink & a black polo neck jumper and a pink bodywarmer. The polo necks were £14 and the bodywarmer £25.
Today 23.09.03 they had their first outing in our ladies day. The clothes looked smart and fitted like a glove.
I look for winter clothes to be light, easy to move in, easy to wash and dry but above all to keep you warm while allowing your skin to breath. These clothes appear to meet all these criteria and I will have to wait to see if they meet the test of time.
The polo necks are made from 100% cotton and the bodywarmer 100% polyester unfortunately non of the labels inform you of where...

Yikes, turning 17 was more daunting than I thought it would be, what with all my friends already learning to drive (or having passed) I almost felt pressured to get through the whole process, although not overly - I mean I know I had many happy months... more
