I have ridden with a raceface BB on my pashley for 4 years with no slack or knocking from by BB in that time. It's still going strong, even though it has been smashed many times from going to the bash ring.
The factory and Shimano BB have nothing on them as they are designed to have the least amount of friction but no strength for the more extreme ridding of street and DH.
Most top range Bottom Brackets sit at around £80 so pick your self up a bargain and get an Evolve....

Advantages: Nice and comfortable Disadvantages: Not made to last
...Several years ago I bought a pair of Caldene heavy cord jodhpurs and it had finally come to the time to replace them.
As my local saddlery shop didn't stock Caldene and it was summer I purchased two pairs of lightweight Gorringe cord jodhpurs in different colours.
For a short while I was delighted as the Gorringe soft cord jodhpurs were much more comfortable in the summer heat than the Caldene heavyweight jodhpurs.
However, my delight didn't last long as the jodhpurs soon showed signs of sagging (and yes it was definitely the jodhpurs sagging and not my bum and legs!) and they lost their elasticity.
Shortly after worn patches developed around the bum and inside leg of the jodhpurs and it wasn't long before these worn patches developed into holes.
In short, the Gorringe lightweight cord jodhpurs are a nice pair of jodhpurs...

Advantages: Keeps you warm Disadvantages: A bit thin for winter surfing
...Over all I was pleased with this wetsuit, its does the job and was redeemably priced.
COMFORT AND PARCTICALITY
A wetsuits comfort, whatever make it is will depend on wither it is a shortsummer suit or a long winter one. A short suit would be more comfortable when the water is warmer and you are spending more time on the beach itself, however if a short suit is too larger it tends to shift around much more giving you're a very sour neck. Most Circle One longies make good summer and winter suits because they are thin enough that you will not get too hot in the summer but it is still bearable in January/ February, however it is still important to get one the right size because wearing one which is too small will restrict your movement and one which is too large will rub on your neck and chest.
