I had one of these bikes in the 1970s when I was between the ages of 9 and 12 and absolutely loved it.
It had the most comfortable saddle you could ever imagine, a totally cool 3 gear shift stick that was like the gear shift in an automatic car and handlebars like those you would get on a Hells Angels motorbike or trike.
The version I had actually had the gear shift located on the top of the frame near where the saddle is so if you can get a model that has this it would look and be far cooler.
I would give a general warning that because of the smaller front wheel than back wheel it was and maybe still is very difficult if not impossible to ride "no hands" so take care if attempting this or best still do not attempt it at all.
I currently own a Marin Palisades mountain bike but I have promised mysefl that one day soon I will purchase the classic Raleigh Chopper.
