I have owned and shown horses, mainly Welsh Cobs, for around eight years. I was first introduced to Rambo Rugs some seven years ago. Once tried I never used anything else. I found them to be watertight even in a huge downpour even at the seams. Even when very wet the rugs were still reasonably lightweight to carry and dry - often drying quite easily in a barn or tack room overnight. The only problem I had with the rugs was a slight tendency to rub on the horse's shoulder - this did not happen to every horse - and those where it occurred the use of a small "bib" under the rug soon solved the problem. In summer, during the showing season, the Rambo light was a godsend. After washing a grey horse I was quite happy to turnout to the field and no that he would come in quite clean the following morning. I prefer the traditional Rambo as most of my horses had rather large necks and the Wug had a tendency to rub the neck. However, a friend of mine who had a small Welsh Section B pony rated the Wug very highly!

Good but short opinion! I know it's difficult sometimes.... I mean, there's only so much you can write about a rug! :-)

Hi and WELCOME!! Just a few points for your op, you need more info, you nedd to tell us everything about the product, explain what it is, what colour, price and where you bought it. You have written the basics, but you need more info. Don't stick to the 120 word limit!!! Hope the advice hepls, if you re write I will re rate. Craig.
Advantages: Light, warm, dont slip, never rub, horses seem to like them and dont try to get them off. Excellent value for money. Disadvantages: Expensive to buy, although I believe they are extremely cost effective.
