I had always dreamed of owning a Rambo Wug, and saved religously to buy my first. I am not disappointed at all.
I have used my Rambo heavyweight turnout for several horses, and it fits them all superbly, from a skinny Thoroughbred to my chunky cross bred.
The Rambo rug is easy to fasten, although the cross surcingles do have a type of locking elastic band on, so can only be turned one way to release them. The lack or leg straps means that I never have to fuss around hind legs (my tb is a reformed kicker, but I still don't want to take chances). The front of the rug is fastened using clips instead of buckles, making quick work for cold hands. I have the full neck version, and found the initial velcro fastening very flimsy. I have therefore had a local saddler attach a zip which ensures it stays closed at all times.
This rug has seen my wimpy TB through his first winter out full time. Even on snowy mornings he was cosy and content. It never slips, and so far no horse has had any rubs.
I also have several of the equally brilliant Rambo stable rugs, which I cannot recommend enough.
