Reebok Mini Stepper comes complete with calorie counting mini computer, resistance tubes and sample exercises to optimise your thigh toning workout. Stepping is a great way to get a toning workout and really sculpt your thighs and bum.
Advantages: Very easy to use, move around and store. Disadvantages: I'm sure there are better steppers but for a higher price.
...Before I start describing the wonders and blunders of the v fit ministepper I'd like to explain why I opted for this style of home gym equipment.
I read a bit on the internet about steppers and how people lose 2-3 inches just using the stepper every day, although this would be a nice bonus I wasn't focusing on losing weight so much as getting fitter and healthier. I live in a large block of flats in London, on the 7th floor with other people living below, above, each side and across the hall. Purely because of this I gave up on my collection of fitness DVDs as I didn't want to be banging about jumping and running every day to the tune of "Lift 2,3,4 and Down 2,3,4, Slide 2,3,4 and Back 2,3,4, and Starjumps...". So basically I believed the quietest exercise equipment I could buy would be a ministepper.

Advantages: Good workout, Disadvantages: Can be boring
...I own one of these steppers, not this particular model, but from the read up it does exactly the same.
I purchased mine for around £40.00 from Argos. It has an adjustor which you turn to tension the feet pedals but other than that, there is nothing to it.
It also has a computer which tells you how many strides you have done, how many calories you have burned (supposedly) how long you have been working for etc. The one thing I don't like about this machine is that the computer cuts off after a couple of minutes of inactivity. I like to use it in short bursts over the day but I find I have to write down what I have done each time and then add them all together at the end of the day.
This machine also has the lateral action and yes, you definitely do feel the advantages of using this machine. It is small and compact, although quite heavy...

Advantages: QUALITY, VALUE FOR MONEY, COMPACT. Disadvantages: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
...INTRO
After the sudden death of my 7 year old Pro-form treadmill it was time to start looking for something to replace it with but being somewhat out of pocket (probably due to credit crunch/petrol prices) my budget was under £400. I must say I didn't think that I'd be able to get much treadmill for my money.
FINDING A TREADMILL
I started my searching on the Internet with a firm called fitness-superstore http://www.fitness-superstore.co.uk, which has a great range of low priced treadmills and I soon became zapped by the latest designs and specifications of the new range of treadmill on the market. As I set my budget at under £400 this helped me to narrow my searching and leave me with 3 possible treadmills that met my needs, the makes were Pro-form, Weslo, Reebok.
After some head scratching I decided that the 'Reebok I RUN...
