Everything that's claimed is true.. I've been out in tropical style cloudbursts wearing my Barbour and hood. Everything below the jacket hem was soaked ie the lower calves of my legs and feet. But my Barbour did it's duty and kept the rest of me bone dry! It is also remarkably wind proof. Combined with a vest,shirt and jumper and a decent Tinsulate lined wooly hat, I've braved nasty cold east winds this winter and stayed warm.I've also been through bushes by accident of course. Again a lesser jacket would have been pierced by thorns etc and as a result, I was saved from some potential nasty injury. Ok so it does what it's supposed to.... Everything that's claimed is true.. Bassetts soft and chewy vitamins for me and you!

Advantages: Great tasting, Low in Sugar, Just 1 a day!
Disadvantages: Nothing

For those of you who have read my review about Pityriasis Rosea, you will have read that the skin condition is caused by a virus, which was to do with my immune system. I don't eat terribly well and I certainly don't have my 5 a day and its very doubtful I get all the vitamins and minerals I need either. I contracted a virus which gave me a nasty skin condition and the doctor suggested it was a good idea to take vitamins to ensure I get all the vitamins and minerals I need. ***WHERE TO LOOK/WHAT TO GO FOR*** I can't swallow tablets terribly well and even when I do have to take tablets I hate trying to force them down my throat. I had seen Bassetts soft and chewy vitamins advertise on the television many times before and thought I would have a look at these. Review of Bassetts Soft & Chewy Active Health Multivitamins

Active Moist = Soft, smooth, nourished skin.

Advantages: Easily spreads into skin, Lasts a good length of time, lightweight feel.
Disadvantages: Expensive, will not suit all skin types.

This moisturiser is wonderful. A small amount (about the size of a 5 pence piece) is all you need to cover the whole of your face and neck so despite it being quite expensive it lasts a good length of the time - you do not need to use huge quantities because of the high quality of the moisturiser. It spreads easily and leaves the skin feeling soft and silky without the greasy feeling that often accompanies some moisturisers. I am a strong believer that good moisturiser is a must and this is one of my favourites. It is however particularly suited to younger normal skin. Dry skin should probably have a moisturiser more suited to addressing that particular problem and my mum, who as well as being older also has more sensitive skin than myself found that although the moisturiser was good it was not as effective as her regular one.
