5 Stars Predator X-TRG SG- Unbeatable boots! Review with images 10/11/2010

Advantages Advantages Control, feel, spin, comfort, surface contact, just great boots!

Disadvantages Disadvantages If you can't hit the target without them, don't even consider them! No magic wand, an enhancement.

The Predator has come a long, long way since it's design in the early to mid 1990's, when ex-Liverpool and Australian international Craig Johnston ripped apart an old tyre, glued it to a boot and swerved shots like nobody had ever seen! He took his prototype to Adidas in Germany and good old Adi Dassler! They went for it, patented his system and in my opinion, have now not just improved it, but perfected the football boot! Sometimes, you look at Predators and think they're not the most cosmetic of footwear, but I come from the "black and white boot" generation and don't particularly like ... more

Advantages Advantages Price, comfort and style

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

When I was in junior school the Adidas Predators were the be all and end all of football boots. Whether you were good or not there ways a certain aura about players who came out on the dingy school pitches wearing a shiny new pair of Predators and to this day that still remains. Despite hefty competition for other brands the Predators remain the boot to be seen in and even now it’s the pub league rather than the school league I play in they still remain the boot of choice. The first thing is the comfort. Football boots tend to becoming lighter and lighter to the point you hardly can feel them ... more

Advantages Advantages They are extremly durbale and withold a lot such as flooded pitches without getting your feet wet

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive for football boots which you may wear once a week

I have had these boots now for around a year and they are still going strong, still as comfortable as ever and in extremely good condition. I have them with molded blades which are for hard ground however they still work when it is wet however not as effectively as i did slip and slid a bit but only when the pitch is water logged literally. I believe these boots are stylish and do what they say which is to provide power. When you strike the ball with the laces then in some boots then you may hurt your foot however these boots are designed to help to create power in shots, passes etc to help ... more

Advantages Advantages good support, increase power and accuratecy

Disadvantages Disadvantages not very attractive look

This is my favourite soccer boots. I've been wearing the Adidas predators ever since I started playing soccer. This boot has amazing support with specially designed studs and shape. The leather used to make the boots is soft, which ensures quality touches with the ball. The rubber grip on the surface provides enough friction that makes your shots become more amazingly accurate. This is really suitable for the name Predator. With this boots, you can score amazing goals from every where, outside the penalty box with a powerful shot or just an accurate drive to the far poast to beat the keeper. I ... more

Advantages Advantages Comfortable, Good Shooting accuracy,

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not good for dribbling

I've had these boots for over 3 years and i'm extremelly happy with them. They are still in perfect condition and the combination of the colours red and grey really make them stylish. I really like the fact it has a elastic band do cover the strings. While running i do find that these are one of the best i've experimented. When shooting is concerned, i find it really great the way i have control over the ball when shooting with the inner part of my foot. When the outer part is in action i tend to have loads of deviations and i've had boots that make that job better. In terms of dribbling these ... more

    Advantages Advantages Comfort

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Price, style

In all, an over priced pair of football boots with very bad styling. Although these boots are comfortable they do not warrant their high price tag with various other boots matching their comfort. For their price you would expect to wear these boots for at least a season but think that these boots would struggle to last that long. The leather is thin and does not offer much protection to the foot or ankle. One good thing this pair of football boots does have going for it is that they do offer good control of the football. I would not recommend this pair of football boots for your average Sunday ... more

Advantages Advantages comfort, light weight, durability

Disadvantages Disadvantages high price (however the boots are worth it)

i purchased these football boots myself at the start of the previous season. as a keen footballer i would usually change my football boots mid-way through every season. However these are the best pair of football boots i have ever owned and warn. i highly recommend these boots to anybody who asks. they have to be the most comfortable boots i have ever warn. they give you ultimate control of the ball. improving touch, accuracy and power. immense confidence will be shown by any player that wears these astonishing boots. they are expensive but well worth every penny. plus as they are starting to ... more

    Advantages Advantages ball control

    Disadvantages Disadvantages heavy

the predator boot famous as it is continues to develop. the boot is great looking and gives good control on the ball great durable both weathers in my opinion the boot is a success with only the weight as a downfall. compaired to it's nearest rival the t90's it's a winner in almost every department bar the weight if you were conce=idering buying a pair of boots i'd reccomend the addidas predator it's mark of standards it set from the start with the 3 stripe brand the unique boot style and ball control and shot curl style. Endorsed by mr beckham himself the adidas predator is the market leading ... more

Advantages Advantages Great Durability, Reasonable price and very stylish.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Only avaliable in blades not studs.

In my opinion I feel the football boots were extremley good value for money as they are great in all conditions and give you fantastic grip on all grass surfaces. The durability of the boots was a good as I had them for 8 months and they never let me down once. I would strongly recommend these boots for all people as they are also avaliable at a very reasonable price. In my opinion I feel these boots are very stylish as some top players wear them, like Steven Gerrard. They provided supreme comfort when I had them and the control on the ball was brilliant especially for skillful players. My ... more

Advantages Advantages Same look as the more expensive Absolutes and MUCH cheaper.

Disadvantages Disadvantages None of the technology of the Absolutes

The Adidas predator absolutions are cheaper versions of the Adidas Predator Absolute. The Absolion and the absolada look very similar to the Absolutes however that is about it. With none of the technology the absolutes have these are literally cheap imitations. The Absolutions are much cheaper and do look the same (no one can really tell when you are playing with them). However they feel like a cheap boot and are not as durable as the Absolutes; you will probably end up buying a new pair of boots a lot sooner then you would if you had the absolutes (so you might be better off just paying the ... more
