Advantages: good distance, easy to hit straight Disadvantages: expensive
I was given 2 hybrids: a 2 and 4 and so far they have been a very good addition to my golf bag. They allow me to play long shots on surfaces which would not favour the use of my regular woods, i.e. longer fairways, rough and slopes. I have been impressed by the distance i have been able to achieve with these clubs too. I can easily hit 250 with the 2 and i asure you i am not a pro. I feel that these clubs are also easier to hit straight, because ... ...plane and this results in abetter end product. Howver the one negative aspect is the cost and if i had to purchase the clubs myself i would think again. This is especially prevalent for people who already have a 9 or 7 wood as i have both and i think the difference between these and the hybrids doesn't justify shelling out hundreds of pounds. ...
