Advantages: Good looking, nice feel to the swing, rugged construction Disadvantages: No more excuses! Expensive to buy when new
I purchased a set of these clubs from a friend who found that he liked a different set more. I feel it is important to point out that I am not a golf professional and know little about the design and constructon of golf clubs.
I have been using these clubs for about 4 months now and I must say that I do find them rather good. While I cannot say that they have made all of my shots straight and long, they have made my game slightly better. Before ... ...clubs, so the difference is large. The irons are relatively lightweight and feature a larger "sweet spot" - the area on the club face where the ball will travel a long way. As such the back swing feels more controlled, leading to a more positive and less rushed downswing. This combined with a large sweet spot - allowing some flexibility in exactly where on the club face the ball makes contact mean that shots are, in theory, longer and straighter.

Why I Bought them
I picked these clubs up recently at a pro shop, they had just been traded in and in excellent condition. I have just returned to the game after a 10 year absence and decided that a quality club would get me back on track. I play at around the 95 to 100 mark so I really am a less than average golfer so i can only comment on what feels good to me as a novice.
First Go with them
I took them along to my lesson and the instructor ... ...miles" was the quote. He was spot on I couldn't believe the improvement, I have always struggled to hit long irons...... not anymore. The grips were lovely and the markings on them really helped me to get you set up . The first few strikes of the ball were a bit nervy then I found myself swinging easy and really catching the ball sweet. I went from around the 130/35 yard mark with the 7 iron to well over the 150 and maybe pushing 160 in a half hour ...
