The Bistro 250 stove from Camping Gas is an excellent piece of equipment.

A quality piece that aids camping. Far better than the tiny old fashioned type stoves. Easy to use, except when the grass is long!
We found that too long a grass burnt if we placed the product on the ground.
It is high power, so water boils quickly and food gets done, rather than waiting around. It is also very stable, almost impossible to knock over.
On the transport side, it is a little bulky and therefore unlikely to be suitable for backpacking. ...
