Advantages: Easy to pitch, inexpensive Disadvantages: Only suitable for light rain and short breaks maybe
...ago now I purchased a Eurohike 220 Dome tent for £39.99 from Milletts outdoor/camping store for the purpose of my music festival-going activities. At the time I thought I was being clever by buying a red one – “unusual” I thought “everyone else’s will be blue or green” I thought. On getting to the campsite at Reading Festival I realised it may just not be so easy to find my little red tent among the mere 10,000 ... ...– dammit! I was so jealous of the leopard print tent I spotted (pardon the pun!)
Back to the tent itself – a two berth (at a squeeze) of simple construction and a breeze to put up so long as you don’t find yourself on dry, stoney ground where you cannot get the tent pegs in! The tent has an outer waterproof skin, with an inner tent/skin which includes a sturdy built-in groundsheet – so no messing about with multiple pieces ...

Advantages: Easy to pitch Disadvantages: everyone else at Glastonbury festival has one
Time to get the tent out and make sure everything is in tiptop condition. It is Glastonbury in 4 weeks time and we use our Euro hike tent.
Our tent is about 4 or 5 years old cost about £40 it is a green 2-man tent, yes it is big enough for 2 Adults and a child a bit of a squeeze but fine for a night or 2.
The tent comes in a bag with handles fairly light, (cant find spec on wieght)easy to carry.
This Euro hike tent is easy to put up. There is ... ...which you slide into place, and an inner skin, which you fix to the outer tent with lots of toggles; this inner tent has ground sheet attached already. There are tent pegs to fix the tent to the ground to stop it blowing away.
It takes me 15 minutes to put it up on my own (I timed myself last year) Less time with another.
Yes it is waterproof! We have used it at Glastonbury in the rainstorms. A hint if you are going to Glasto and it looks like ...

I first purchased the Eurohike 220 about 2 years ago when I was going on a Duke Of Edinburugh expedition, the tent was light weight and it was very easy to carry on the expedition. Another reason I bought the tent was because it was so easy to erect. The poles easily located in the channels and it just popped up. The simple job of hammering in the pegs followed and then you could use it to your hearts content. This is the type of tent you need after ... ...is easy to put up with no fiddeling. The only problem with the tent is that it is too small it is about 5"8 long and now iam 6". This tent was a great tent and it served me well for the 2 years that it was in my possesion. The only problem now is finding a tent that will match it in price and in all of the other essential criteria that a good tent needs.
Many other people that I know bought this tent, the type of people that should buy this are ...

Advantages: Lightweight and ideal for adventure trips. Easy to errect Disadvantages: Noise of camping
I used a Eurohike 220 to live in when I travelled eastern Europe for 3 months. Although I travelled in a car and didn't have to carry it, the size of the tent when folded was very important as their had to be room for all of our camping equiptment and 3 peoples luggage. This tent is extremely easy to put up, just fitting the poles though the outer waterproof cover, pegging down the inner section and the attaching the two together. Very easy to errect ... ...that little bit longer but once you have put it up and down a few times you get quicker at it. I would advise anyone who is giong to camp, anywhere, to take roll mats. you wouldn't think such a thin layer of foam would make too much difference, but it does. Once you are in your sleeping bag, on top of the roll mat, you can not feel the ground that is underneath you. It was a four man tent but was comfortable for three and had enough space to have ...

Advantages: very easy to put up Disadvantages: keeping inner and outer tent separate is difficult
A good quality, light weight tent. Perfectly suited to short camping trips and festivals. It is very easy to put up, with clear instructions for every step. Less easy to put away and fit everything in the carry case - I would highly recommend looking closely at how it is all folded up before you unravel for the first time. Seam sealent is essential if you don't want a soggy sleeping bag.
Could do with more internal storage, as there are only two ...
