...member I can say that Fitness First gives you the framework for an excellent workout. The machines are good, with plenty to go around, and there are a vast number of classes from dance to yoga.
The downside? Where do I start!
The administration at Ilford has been apalling. They take out to much money from your direct debit or not enough, ocassionally not at all. They then have the audacity to write letter upon letter without checking their mistakes ...

Advantages: Its cheap Disadvantages: sauna, changing rooms and shower are filthy.
...a member of the Romford fitness first. I recently parked in their members car park, and because I was seen going to boots (to buy shampoo) rather than walk straight into the gym, I was wheel clamped and forced to pay £200 removal fee. This has been done on the request of the Romford fitness first manager. This has also occurred to many other members. Any members or visitors should be aware of the treatment of members by this company.
