Advantages: dry, comfy, good grip Disadvantages: not very stylish
I updated my footjoys to these about a year ago and i have been very pleased since. They have kept my feet dry in all conditions, even when the water has been lapping at my laces. They are also extremely comfortable and when playing it seems as though you only have your socks on. However the amazing grip they provide ensures you that you have actually remembered to put your shoes on. After one year my shoes seem to have withstood the elements fairly ... ...not have any damage or wear and tear whatsoever. However for all their advantages the shoes are no different to my previous pair and in fact i prefered the style of previous pair as i think these are rather 'plastic' in appearance. Therefore if your current shoes are comfortable, not damaged and stylish i would hold on to them as these are nothing special. I've had a pair of these for over a year. The first thing I noticed was that they are very light. After 18 holes I wasn't as tired as I used to be with my old pair. I had no problems with the first round; no discomfort or blisters. The leather on the top and behind the heel is soft and supple.
