...having a look at the Horizon Elite treadmill. Now as a general rule I hate treadmills because when you can do something for free, why pay for it right? Well this is true, but there are some things you can do on a treadmill that you can?t when your out running. Logan investigates.
Ok so where to begin, well first lets have a look at the functionality of the machine in question and I?ll try to add commentary to make sense of it all for you.

... ...waste of time. Essentially what horizon have done is put the speed and incline control on two wheels on the right and left hand side of the support bars. This way they are closer and easier for you to adjust the settings when you are running. In reality, I found they were no better than when they used to be on the front panel. Besides it only takes 3 seconds to change either of these variables so whats the big deal?!

Advantages: Great grip, quiet, Disadvantages: Very expensive
If your into running, the Horizon Elite treadmill is ideal. i am into running due to my job as well as a favourite hobby, and this treadmill supports all of my needs no matter what sort of training im currently doing. I do uphill running alot, or hill sprints as it is great for my CV fitness, this treadmill fully supports a high weight and what ever speed, so no thumping on the roller which can get pretty annoying. It is also ideal for people who ... ...pregnant girlfriend uses it for a gentle uphill walk everyday. The canvas is very supportive and its almost impossibe to slip whilst running, so all together the machine is very safe. I would recommend this to anybody as its ideal for any type of walking or running, the price is high but in my opinion if your into running its worth any penny. ...
