...made a complaint via the LA Fitness website and only after some considerable time did I receive an email response. No response or apology ever came from the directly from the club, despite me knowing that they had received it. There was certainly no good will gestures such as waiving one month's membership fee, for having to endure weeks of cold showers.
The only benefits of this club is the convenience if you live / work in the centre of Newbury ...

I rang the credit control department of LAF (AKA Waffen SS HQ) and encountered the infamous Darren Knipe, one of the nastiest people I have ever spoken to . He demanded medical proof of my condition. When I offered to send him a photograph of my stump, he told me 'I needed to deal with my problems better'.

...currently the club manager of LA Fitness Newbury and if you are reading this review the first thing I would do is to remember her name ,go into the club and ask to speak to her, who you will soon see is futile ,ineffective ,callous and rude which does not say much for this club.
