I bought this from the TV a few years ago. The ads were on all the time and there seemed to be a lot of hype. If it is well advertised enough, I think buying products can easily suck you in. I first came across the Lateral Thigh Trainer on an infomercial on Sky. It was priced at £89.99 + p&p. I thought it was too good to be true. I hummed and aarghed about it for a while. The Lateral Thigh Trainer ad campaign hit the TV screens here in New Zealand around March this year and I pretty much caved straight away. The ads were catchy and there was so much that appealed to me about this product. I think the main attraction was that it was small and portable and didn’t need a huge area to workout in. I bought the LTT because the price I found on the internet was much lower than what is on TV, only £29.99 plus £6 shipping fee. This price includes the machine and the power cords as well. This is my first review!! So here goes with a tentative (pedicured!) toe in the water! Bought an LTT online from UK Sports Imports for £44.95 including power cords who delivered within 2 days. Bought the dvd separately from ebay for £5. I think it's worth getting the dvd even though the LTT is really simple to set up and use, as it ensures you use it correctly. I bought my lateral thigh trainer 3 months ago, however I didn't buy it from the official website as I thought it was too expensive, instead I bought it off a competitor site for £49.95. I started off by doing 45 minutes every alternate day (working out to the equivalent the 20 minutes a day that's recommended ). Advantages: Smallish, relatively inexpensive and it works!
Disadvantages: On its own it's no use for upper body and not good if you have back problems.

What is it? A fancy step machine that not only goes up and down but sideways at the same time. The idea is that you are not only working the back of your legs but all your leg muscles at once. It is also an aerobic excerciser so it gets the heart and lungs working and burns calories. Where do you get it from and how much is it? If you have Sky you can't miss the ads. or the 'phone number.
