...know swear by them!! Maglite offer a lifetime guarantee on all of their products and I've yet to have to take advantage of this. The only problem I've had was when I put inferior batteries into mine and they leaked. I didn't really bother to see if this came within the remits of the guarantee and just bought a new one. ...to fiddlers who love their Maglite - Don't clean the reflector. I was bored one day and decided to dismantle the torch head. I cleaned the lens and the reflector with a soft cotton cloth. Later, I noticed that the beam wasn't as bright, so stupidly I repeated the procedure.
