Maglite offer a lifetime guarantee on all of their products and I've yet to have to take advantage of this. The only problem I've had was when I put inferior batteries into mine and they leaked. I didn't really bother to see if this came within the remits of the guarantee and just bought a new one. If however, you'd rather spend a bit more, you'll be getting a very well made torch that in my experience will not let you down and you'll be amazed at how frequently you use it if it's with you and not stashed away in the cupboard under the stairs awaiting the next power cut.
I would highly recommend this product and feel it is worth every penny of it's seemingly ...

*Intro
The Maglite Torch, an instrument used by both amateurs and professionals alike due to its robust design and various in-built quality features. A guy called Mr. Maglica, the founder of the Maglite Company in 1955, first built the Maglite in a small one-man shop in the U.S. Since then the company has grown vastly, and with it so has the reputation of the Maglite, it almost has the same reputation that say, Victrinox has in the knife industry, ... ...buy.
All of the Maglite torches have a changeable focus beam, from spot to flood to freestanding-candle light, in seconds. A spare bulb is also kept in the tail cap, just in case it breaks at the worst moment, so you wont be left without light for long.
*My Experiences
Well, I myself own the Maglite Solitaire, 2 AAA Cell, 2 AA Cell and the 4 D Cell models. All of which in terms of battery time have lasted for hours with a strong beam and have ...

The torch takes the form and design which is come in all the Maglite ranges, often making them instantly recognisable! The dimensions are, l = 14.5 cm diameter = 2.5 cm widest and 1.7cm at tail. The output isn’t going to be amazing considering there are better bigger models in the range, but considering its size I was very impressive and score miles above other torches i have used. Compared to the solitaire it also does much better, however it seems to eat batteries ...

...have a little torch a Maglite AA.
It maybe small but it is good, shines a light on any object I wish to see in the dark. We have one of these torches in the car; we have one we take on holiday. I have had my torch for several years it has been to France, to Spain, up to Scotland and to the Glastonbury festival with me.

Advantages: Waterproof, shockproof, great design, bright Disadvantages: None!
I bought my maglite a couple of years ago. Since I do quite a lot of camping and going to music festivals, I thought it would be a good idea to invest in a good torch to see me through my camping adventures!
The maglite comes in a black plastic protective case. The case is rectangular in shape, it is about 17cm in length and 10cm in breadth and probably about 3cm thick. It has 'Mini Maglite' written across the front of it. This opens up to reveal ... ...instructions that come with the maglite are detailed and easy to follow and tell you everything you need to know (though really putting batteries in a torch and turning it on doesn't require too much reading!) The warrantee is also included in the instructions.
The maglite is not too heavy, being made of aluminium, and is easy to carry around therefore making it a great camping accessory. The bottom of the maglite screws open so that you can put ...

I purchased this Mini Maglite AA to accompany my larger 4 cell Maglite that I reviewed earlier.
The Mini Maglite AA, is made of Aluminium like the rest of the Maglite range. The Mini Maglite AA is approximately 150mm long and 20mm in diameter, I paid approximately £12 for my Mini Maglite AA off of the internet.
I have owned and still do own another Maglite torch. I have used Maglite torches for well over 10 years and have never had any problems ... ...does.
Most of the Maglite range have a feature on which gives the user the option to have either a wide beam of light or a narrow but long reaching beam of light. This is done by rotating the bulb end of the torch in either a clockwise or an anti clockwise direction, this then in turn gives you either a narrow or wide beam of light, the wide beam setting is ideal if you want to light the full width of the path that you are walking on, the narrower ...

Advantages: Well built, reliable, versatile, and performs well. Makes a smart gift. Disadvantages: none
...>Overview< ----------------- Maglite are an extremely respected company when it comes to torches. They are based in the USA, but their products are used by security forces all over the world. The Mini Maglite itself comes in two flavours - 2xAA batteries, or 2xAAA. The AAA version will be more compact, but will give correspondingly lower light output. As far as pricing goes, both units retail around the £15 mark. Although this may seem ...

...bought for other people.
Maglite torches come in a range of sizes and metallic colours and can be purchased in a number of outlets. Halfords, in particular, always seem to have a good stock. The one I have is the Mini Maglite AA which can easily be put in a handbag and I find is just the right size to hold comfortably. The Mini Maglite AA converts easily to become a free-standing candle, providing reliable light that can safely be left in a room even with children. You just take off the top leaving the bare bulb in place and use the top to form the stand by placing it on the other end. I hope they gave the employee that came up with that idea more than an ill-fitting T-shirt!
And still there’s more. What happens if the light bulb expires just when ...

Advantages: Bright, compact and indestructible Disadvantages: Awkward to use with gloves, easy to lose
I break torches. I drop them off high things, get them wet, you name it. My Mini-Maglite is probably somewhere around six years old now and still going strong. To some, £20 might seem rather a lot to pay for a torch, but for something as indestructible as this it's a price worth paying.
The torch is machined from aluminium and is available in a variety of finishes, from plain boring black, to silver, red, purple and army camouflage to name but a ... ...to time. The only plastic component open to the elements is the plastic lens at the front. The head of the torch and base both screw on with rubber O-rings to keep water out.
Unlike its larger brethren, the Mini-Maglite has no conventional on-off switch, relying instead on twisting the head to turn it on and off, and to focus the beam from a tight spot to a wide flood. This can be a bit tricky wearing gloves or with cold or wet hands however.
With ...

This is an amazing product. I bought one last year before going camping. Having had quite a few cheaper torches over the years I thought I'd splash out on a better model, I was right to do so.
