I bought a standard black version from a DIY store reduced to £4 and for that money it's fantastic. Still very good value at full price. Exceptional light beam for such a small torch with 1xAAA battery. I got it because it fits in the pen holder pockets on some of my clothes perfectly, so it's always there when I need it and it's well protected. Just one thing, I would advise anyone who gets one to adhere to the instructions regarding vaseline ...

This is an excellent product - one of those occasions when size doesn't matter at all. after numerous disappointments with small torches i splashed out a little and bought one of these little treasures. I was instantly amazed. It was worth the extra couple of pounds. This minature version of the old classic magnum torch is just as sturdy and reliable and has been a real lifesaver on numerous occasions. It's also such a classic that you are just as likely to buy it for your grandad as your grandaughter. This is a fantastic little torch - I have been using on of these for years, I keep one attached to my bunch of keys, so always helps finding the right key, or even the keyhole of my car! I've never had one run out of charge yet, there is also a spare bulb in the end.
